Pretty much all I do lately is apply for jobs. That's not even remotely true of course, but it does kind of feel that way. I send in applications, I hear nothing back, and then a while later I call and either leave a voicemail which is never returned or have someone tell me that I would have heard by now if I was being considered. It's like the great circle of life, except for instead of great it is kind of irritating, and instead of life it's just employment. Jobs are not life. It is important to remember that.

It's time for a bike ride!
